The Downton Abbey AU where Mary and Thomas Crawley are THE MOST AMAZING TWINS IN THE UNIVERSE.
I just really want them to be frighteningly close siblings now whose main problems are that Thomas doesn’t seem to love any woman so much as his sister (completely platonically), while Mary, who’s been overshadowed by her dear brother all her life, still has no clue wtf she wants. Rumours would swirl around them constantly if they spent much time in London, but they’re mostly at Downton, and they mostly entertain and get into scrapes and occasionally carry bodies down hallways.
