Oh god I should be done long before series 3. I hope. Oi! If it takes me that long I’ll be the one leaping off a building. (Not literally.) AO3 has a fantastic interface, I love to to bits. It’s the best thing in fandom, I’m fairly sure. I might be biased, but yeah. Yay!
That chapter number seems to go higher and higher. I see no problem with this.
This story I am working is in three distinct parts, which I’ve never done before, so I sort of outlined them each part separately. I didn’t go far in the first part until I had that whole outline worked out, and I didn’t go very far into the second part until it was all outlined. I knew roughly what the third part was all about, but I didn’t have any of it hammered out very specifically. So I was just estimating chapter numbers. Until now.
Normally I outline an entire story before I get very far into it, and tweak it as I go, but I generally know the entire shape and then work from that outline pretty religiously to keep me on track. This one, with the three parts, was really different. But very comfortable to work with, interestingly. I don’t have any middle-point terror like I usually do.
If I’m lucky I’ll be able to merge some of those later chapters together and bring that total number down slightly, but as it stands, my projected word total is 121,198, making it the longest thing I will have ever written, if that’s how it goes. Which is a little bit terrifying.
I can’t tell you how great it feels to have a complete outline, though. I get anxious if I don’t have a complete outline.

Like in my head I had a thing where like Rose did some work for SHIELD on her dimension jumps (I almost wrote dimension humps…freudian slip much) and she meets Steve and they bond over the fact that they were both separated from the people they love and how they started being people that everyone underestimated but the people they loved showed them how to be extraordinary, but oh.
I could imagine at one point that Loki figures out that Rose has been helping SHIELD and GOD uses his glow stick of destiny to maybe control her and get intel on SHIELD and in the process mess with Steve’s head omg hmmmm….

1. How did you find my blog? And how do you like it? I found your blog when you told me about this thing called “tumblr” and all of the wonderful things it could do…you are the one who started me on this site that has since sucked up ALL my time…I have no regrets.
2. What’s the best book you’ve read in the past year? Why?
In the last year, I’ve been so busy with books for school that I haven’t had the chance to read much for pleasure, which is infuriating. Within class settings, Cane by Jean Toomer was really intriguing, if very difficult to understand, as was Othello. Outside of classwork, Inheritance by Christopher Paolini was lovely, and I’m currently working my way through all of the original Sherlock Holmes books, which are marvelous.
3. If you could be a fictional character in a story, what would your adventure be like?
I’m going to cheat and skip this one, as I answered it in your ask earlier XD
4. In a movie about your life, who would play:
a) you: Jennifer Lawrence. Please. She’s my spirit animal.
b) your love interest: haha, as of yet there are no love interests of consequence for them to play, but let’s write one in. Give it to…hmm…Darren Criss.

I’m sorry. I wish I could tell you to who, but that’s something that I’ll be keeping to myself…sorry, love.

FUCKING NEEDLES.
In a more abstract sense…ending up alone.
7. What’s your favorite dream that you can remember?
I’m piss poor at remembering my dreams, but a few years ago I had one where I was flying up in the clouds at sunset, when they appeared pink and purple. It was the most amazing feeling in the world.
8. If you could do anything with your life right now, no complications, what would you do?
Travel. As much as I possibly can, going everywhere I could possibly go.
9. Describe to me your favorite thing about being outside.
I have two. I’ve always loved the feeling of the sun hitting my face on a warm day; it’s a feeling incomparible to anything else. But I also love the smell of being outside. It’s one of the things I love about going to school where I do (well…most of the time…I could do without the manure smell). I love the smell of the woods, of rain, of freshly-mowed grass, of spring…just the general smell of being outdoors is wonderful.
10. If you could wake up and be anywhere in the whole world, where would it be?
England, but with friends.
11. What song do you feel describes your life right now?
“Totally Fucked” from Spring Awakening…oh, finals…haha
