“Around twelve.” Karim answered as he checked on Kamal, then made his way over to Alliyah’s door.
” Alright. Danhya’s not coming today. Said something about a checkup on the phone the other day? Arun said that there’s a 75 percent chance of them coming, but they’ll get a hold of us if they aren’t,” she sighed heavily, but ended up smiling a little bit after a few second. “Kel, sit still, babe. You need pants.”
The Train Ride Back || Karim & Allison

“That would require us to sneak passed your parents, then my dad, and hitchhike or a taxi…and I think it’d just be better to get on the train.” Karim laughed.
“Oh, come on. That’s easy stuff!” Allison was desperate not to get back on the train and go to Hogwarts again, especially on her birthday. She had already said her goodbyes to her parents; Brayden wasn’t able to make it - but thought that if they went to Grams’ and say they missed the train, they could stay there for the rest of the year. Of course, she was sure to find out the real reason sooner or later, but they wouldn’t be lying completely … They would have missed the train from contemplating on how to get themselves out of the station seamlessly. They were in their sixth year; all they had to do was study for N.E.W.T.s.
But then she thought of the Room. It was almost as if they were living on their own … without a kitchen or a living room … and she had to admit that it was so much better than having an adult there with them …
“Ugh,” she groaned and crossed her arms over her chest, entering the last car on the train.
