Let me just say this

I love Sharon Needles and last night, I just read what she said about Jinkx Monsoon, and Sharon, girl, you are wrong wrong WRONG.
Not one queen in past or this current season is even reminiscent of you, let alone a “cheap version.” The ONLY comparison between the two of you, is that you were both misunderstood amongst your fellow contestants. And I’m not just saying this because I’m team Jinkx, (I’m also team Alaska) but to defend a bully for being a bully is just so mind-boggling to me. If I’m not mistaken, weren’t YOU being bullied last season, Sharon? Did Phi Phi not treat you the same way Roxxxy has treated Jinkx? (and please, spare me the whole “it’s the editing” noise, because sure, things are edited, but they can only edit what you give them) I’m not saying Sharon should be team Jinkx or anything, of course you’re going to root for your boyfriend, but you should be empathetic towards Jinkx because you’ve been through the same thing: other queens not understanding you in the competition as well as outside of it and having to defend your craft/style of drag.
Your aesthetics aren’t even comparable, girl! You are “beautiful, spooky and stupid” where as Jinkx is just a single mother who gets by from performing in vaudville shows. Sharon is inspired by the wicked and the future, where as Jinkx is completely inspired by the past and older characters. To say she’s a cheap version of you is a huge stretch, especially because you only have ONE thing in common. And does anyone else find it strange that she said this exactly one whole, 365 day year after her coronation was televised?
Honestly, I’m just disappointed in Sharon. I dunno how to feel about this but I’m still gonna have love for you. Just know this:
Get a grip. Get a life. And get over it.
