Not everyone on Tumblr is an asshole.
Not everyone on Tumblr is open minded and accepting.
As much as we hate to admit it, Tumbr is open for EVERYONE. That means sexists, misogynists , racists, they can all make blogs here. So don’t act surprise when someone is like that. Don’t say “I expected better of you tumblr.” because, god, not everyone is a nice person.
However, I am happy to say that, from what I’ve PERSONALLY seen, there are more open minded, caring, supportive people on tumblr, then idiot sexist/misogynist/racist/etc people.
Listen, Tumblr isn’t perfect. We have a lot of bad people here, hell its obvious from the anon hate problem. But we also have a lot of good hearted people here too.
So yeah,Tumblr isn’t the nice, accepting paradise we’ve all built it up to be. But at the end of the day, its still a hell of a lot better then society.
