Al Bann Media Broadcasting Algarve Cup 2013
Al Bann Media would like to announce it will broadcast the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) games, of the 20th Algarve Cup, in Spring 2013. For the first time in many years, fans will be able to watch every minute played by their team.
The Algarve Cup is an annual, invitational soccer tournament, held in Portugal. It is recognised as one of the most prestigious events in the women’s game.
The four games played by the USWNT shall be broadcast uninterrupted online, in High Definition, and without regional restrictions. Viewers have the option of watching on their computer or Internet-enabled television, via a dedicated website to be launched at a later date. Each match, and exclusive features will be available to watch on demand.
The broadcasted games will be accompanied by a pre and post match show, featuring discussion, analysis and features. The shows, and commentary, will be fronted by Sarah Walsh, former Australian ‘Matildas’ soccer captain and a good friend of the USWNT. She is able to give a unique insight into new head coach Tom Sermanni, as he takes the USWNT into their first competition under his tenure.
