One thing I really appreciate about this dub is Bakura’s line right before the flashbacks to Kul Elna: “Time doesn’t heal all wounds.” On the other hand, Akhenaden says the Kul Elnans are possessed, and they were just “harvesting the evil spirits”. Wat.

this is one of my favorite pieces from the YGO! DM original soundtrack. it’s beautifully crafted and really… emotionally evoking, or something, to me. I feel like it isn’t appreciated as much as it should be ;A; also, Akhenaden’s story is heartwrenching and this perfectly conveys that.
