New Year, New Plans

It’s a few weeks in the new year and it’s time to get up and start a new.

I’m sorry for any past rants I have done and now only wish for a positive outlook on life.

Much work needs to be done in a lot of things so I must press on. A Taurus always press on even if they are in a losing battle.

So for this year I have BIG cosplays to consider.

1. Juri Arisugawa from Revolutionary Girl Utena. This is one of my dream cosplays and I’ve talked to one friend who could possibly do the jacket and such. I will have to get the pants, the wig, her necklace and maybe sword. This one is for Fanime.

2. My original character/mascot for my business, The Art of Adélie, Adélie Conte de Fees in her first magical girl outfit. This one is going to be toughest cosplays because it is all from scratch - the idea and all and hopefully, my friend who made my Tettere Prince outfit will be able to do this one. This one I plan to put a lot of money in. The better the outfit, the better chance it will stand out. For Fanime.

3. Komui from D. Gray Man. This one is for my friends since they needed a Komui. I’ve sort of made a deal with Kai as well for this cosplay. Possibly for Fanime, if I have enough money for it.

4. Secret cosplay(?). This one is based off one of the Disney Princesses. Hana and I plan to put a little twist to them for Fanime.

5. Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This got to be the most girly cosplays I have done and I love it! I can be as girly as I want and yet still be me in a way. I’m going all out on details for this cosplay, I even plan to bring my own little Spike with me if I can (and I don’t mean a doll or a full grown man/woman either).

I don’t plan to go to AOD but I would like to try the Cherry Blossom festival. The main con for me is Fanime because not only is it my favorite con but I’m part of PaperSwordParty’s skit again but as a stage ninja. I was the Barker pirate in their Avatar skit back in Fanime 2011.
Also with Fanime, I can bring family and have some of them dress up, if they want lol.

Those are my cosplay and con plans. So I’m going to be tight on budget. T_T Must do my best!
