The prison riot has been going on for close to 8 hours. An inner compound and some outer housing units have been taken over by prisoners. The prison is owned and operated by Corrections Corporations of America (CCA) and houses up to 2,567 adult male criminal immigrants, primarily Hispanic/Latinos.
I honestly don’t know why people go to Gettysburg in the winter. Everything’s closed, and there really isn’t anything for tourists to do in the winter. One reason why I like winter in Gettysburg: no dumb tourists.
And it also pisses me off when people spell Gettysburg as Gettysburgh. This is not Pittsburgh. So stop it.
