31: What kept you sane?

Honestly… My dog. She’s just so cuddly, like when shit gets crazy or I fall back into depression she just snuggles up like “oh hey, guess what? there is nothing outside of how adorable i am right now!!!” :-)

32: Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

I’d probably have to say Bao Phi… Got to meet him in February (thanks, ECAASU!) and when I read For Us in Sông I Sing, I might have gone into ultra fan boy mode….

33: What political issue stirred you the most?

Probably very little surprise here, but I’m always in swoon with the badass work that undocufolks have been doing. Holding politicians who say they support immigrants accountable for their inaction= <3

<3 My folks back in NC, especially the NC DREAM Team (haven’t had much time to make new friends here in Colorado, and I miss the craziness we used to have in NC outside of organizing)…

<3 My friend Shabbar, but at least I got to see him for a couple days after almost 6 years apart.

Last night, I had a nightmare that my creative writing teacher gave me a D on my story because he hated it for no reason.

in my other dream, we had these teleporting sleeping bags and some weirdo d00des were following us through space and we kept teleporting to the first place Malia could think of and IT WAS SO STRESSFUL BECAUSE WE COULD HEAR THE D00DES LIKE 1 PORTAL AWAY FROM US

and then we all got in one sleeping bag together and united our powers and went to some random loft in a random place that had camels and also buildings made out of cake and some star wars characters were there.

and then we snuggled.
