JOE WALKER IS LITERALLY PERF AND HE CAN DO NO WRONG AND TOM IS SO CUTE AL;SDKJF

I just finished A Very Potter Senior Year. Cue the gross sobbing.

I absolutely loved it, and I’m so sad to see it end.  It’s bittersweet, because I can remember when I first saw A Very Potter Musical and became obsessed. I feel like these past four years Starkid productions have been such a big thing for me.  I adore their work, esteem their talent, and love them so much.  The tie ins to their past musicals were so great.  There is a part of me that wishes they incorporated more from the others, but that’s just me holding tight to nostalgia.

But everything ends, eh?

Over all, it was great, especially since it wasn’t a complete musical per se, but the cast did a great job and I loved how it almost made it interactive.

I’m just gushing with love and tears for this.  But seriously, I don’t know if it’s because it’s 2am or what, but I was crying hard over the emotions I had for this.

Annnnnd this is longer than I planned.  Whoops.

That’s it… That’s it, you guys. No more. Harry Potter is officially over. Mischief Managed. The End.

“He taught me to open my heart up to what's new. Harry Potter gave me a new family, taught me how to love. I guess that's kinda what Harry Potter's all about.”

Review: A Very Potter Senior Year

Yeah, it came out about 4 hours ago. Yeah, I’ve already watched it.

It’s amazing. So if you’re thinking “it’s only a staged reading, it couldn’t possibly live up to the previous ones” you are completely wrong. They did incredibly well, even if they are reading off of scripts.

It was so awesome to see (most of) the original Starkid cast back together to make this. The writing, as expected was witty and phenomenal. Naturally the entire cast was amazing. The songs were probably better than some of the older ones.

It follows the Chamber of Secrets for the most part, which I thought was kind of amusing. The plot is actually incredibly similar, they are just at a very different point in their schooling. Voldemort comes back, as does pretty much every character that has been in the plays. Harry Potter is living the struggle that almost every Harry Potter fan has - at what point is it time to let go?

I think that Starkid was really trying for closure with this, and it worked fantastically well. It was closure not only for their plays, but for the Harry Potter fandom as a whole.

I AM DYING.

I love it! I’ve waited for so longgggg.

Why did no one tell me that Evanna Lynch was actually playing Luna…?

So I just finished AVPSY.

Seriously, I was sobbing continuously after Act 2 Scene 5. Jesus christ, part of me is glad i didn’t see it in person. I’m a totally embarrassing emotional wreck right now erxtcyvbuin

I wasn’t planning on watching A Very Potter Senior Year tonight, but…

I can listen to the Death Eaters sing all night long.

Just saying.

I’m not emotional at all

It’s not like A Very Potter Senior Year made me tear up or cry or anything

I can’t believe it’s over. Holy crap.

Just finished watching AVPSY...

And it was totally awesome! (that will never get old, fyi haha)

I love how it all came full circle! I won’t spoil anything ;)

Guys! I need your help!

Is there a gif anywhere of when Dumbledore says ” I love two things in this world, and one of them is you.”????
