At Least It Was Here ("Human Beings" A Cappella Cover)

Liam Dryden

Here’s the audio form of my latest a capella cover, the full version of Community’s theme song!

Last time I uploaded a cover on YouTube, a lot of people were excitedly asking me to put it on iTunes, unaware that there was a link to a free download in the description. But that made me realise people would be willing to pay for this sort of stuff which is nice because I put a lot of work into it!

So I’ve put this track from my latest video up on my Bandcamp if you want to have it; It’s £0.75, which is cheaper than your typical iTunes single in the UK, with an option to pay more if you reeeeally want to (but you reeeeally don’t have to)

I also put “Do It Anyway” up there, in case you wanna, y’know, have that

Thank you, hope you like it!

My Jolly Sailor Bold

Halia Meguid

So in keeping with the whole ~*Siren*~ thing and because I’ve been on a Pirates of the Caribbean kick, here’s a quick a capella cover of My Jolly Sailor Bold from Pirates 4 (aka the film we pretend doesn’t exist but the music’s great so). Enjoy! xxx

My Jolly Sailor Bold (From Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End)

Upon one summer’s morning, I carelessly did stray,
Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met a sailor gay,
Conversing with a bouncing lass, who seem’d to be in pain, Saying, William, when you go, will you e’er return again?

A fig for his riches, his merchandize, and gold,
Love is grafted in my heart; give me my sailor bold:
Should he return in poverty, from o’er the ocean far,
To my tender bosom, I’ll press my jolly tar.

My sailor is as smiling as the pleasant month of May,
And oft we have wandered through Ratcliffe Highway,
Where many a blooming girl we happy did behold,
Reclining on the bosom of her jolly sailor bold.

Come all you pretty fair maids, wherever you may be
Who love a jolly sailor that ploughs the raging sea,
While up aloft, in storm or gale, from me his absence mourn,
And firmly pray, arrive the day, he home will safe return.

My name it is Maria, a merchant’s daughter fair,
And I have left my parents’ three thousand pounds a year,
My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold,
There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold.

My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold,
There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold.

Bring Me to Life (Layered Acapella)

Evanescence

Inspired by this!

So yeah, after listening to THAT gorgeous earworm, I started thinking about how the vocal-only version of Bring Me To Life would sound when doubled.

and HOLY SHIT, it is much more GORGEOUS THAN I IMAGINED
