90’s designer appreciation: Versace

Versace’s metal accents, bold prints, curve hugging silhouettes, and leather bondage inspired pieces reigned supreme in the 90’s!

And to add to that, Gianni Versace is often credited with jump starting the “super model” craze by having top models like Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford in all his ads and runway shows.

Lately, Versace’s 90’s style has been coming back in a big way through celebrities like Cassie, and their collaboration with H&M in 2011! They brought back old prints and styles and the whole world collectively drooled over the line:
