All eyes turned to Itachi, who was glancing over the latest mission report concerning the Konoha 12, who had been their opponent. “And I worry for Sasuke.”
“He’s not as strong as you wanted him to be?” Kisame asked and Itachi shook his head.
“He doesn’t seem interested in any females or males. I’m beginning to wonder if he’s asexual.”
“I’m not worried,” Deidara scoffed, smirking, “He’s just taking after you, yeah?”
Itachi didn’t respond but he just threw a pillow at the blonde, who grunted in annoyance. Meanwhile, Sasori smirked and leaned back against the couch. “I wouldn’t be worried, Itachi. Those other two, Hyuuga Neji and Nara Shikamaru don’t seem interested either.”
“It’s all of them,” Zetsu muttered, rolling his eyes, “Every time I’m sent to spy on them, all the guys are training. Literally all of them. Except the blonde one, Uzumaki? He’s hung up on Haruno Sakura.”
“Pink haired girl?” Sasori echoed and he scowled, “I’m going to kill her one day.”
“Wait, isn’t the best friend of the Ino girl?” Hidan asked and when he got a nod, his eyes narrowed dangerously, “Gonna fuckin’ kill her so that Nara kid is depressed. I’m with you, puppet boy!”
“Hyuuga Hinata,” Pein said, speaking for the first time, “Is quite brave. I commend her on that and will allow her to live.”
“On the topic of praise, that Tenten girl has talent,” Kisame nodded, “I’ve seen the way she can handle a sword.”
“Why are you praising them?! We’re supposed to kill them!”
As the rest of them began arguing between praising and insulting, Itachi just sighed, staring at Sasuke’s profile.
“I hope you’re not asexual, Sasuke.”
