Doctor Who 30 Day Challenge - Day 2
What’s your favorite episode (and why)?
Okay so the first question was easy. This one is haaaard. Let me think. Well, I really like episodes that make me cry cause cause I’m emotional and soft and sweet.
But really, yes! I really like the episode Father’s Day because I really love my daddy. That episode was just so bittersweet.
I also really like The Girl In The Fireplace. I knew what was going to happen the second the doctor went through the fireplace for the last time. I bawled so hard.
Also, Madame de Pompadour is the only woman that kissed the Doctor that I don’t want to maim. (Other than Rose, I lover her.)
I really like Blink too. For obvious reasons. Who doesn’t like Blink?
I like Fires of Pompeii too, but only because of the last part where the Doctor was like… Well, here are some gifs.
Oh yes. That gave me goosebumps.
But, if I had to pick a single episode to be my favorite so far. I’d have to pick Father’s Day. Definitely.

Which regeneration of The Doctor would you most want to meet and why?

In all seriousness, I haven’t seen all of the doctors yet. I’m new to this fandom but David Tennant really made me fall in love with it. My father brought up a valid point the other day. He’s been into Doctor Who since the beginning (the old stuff, man) and he told me that David looks the most like how he always envisioned the Doctor to look. You know, I haven’t seen much, but I think he’s right! And he just has that lovable quirky attitude. So, that’s why I love David the most, and always will! He’s definitely the one I’d want to meet.

Realization
On August 22, I wrote in a “30 Days of Summer Break Doctor Who” post:
“I have this great picture in my head of the Doctor, Amy, and Rory having a karaoke night in the TARDIS. I can just imagine The Doctor requesting “Don’t Stop Believin’” for about the millionth time, and Amy and Rory groaning in response. This means, of course, that there would HAVE to be a karaoke bar somewhere in the depths of the wonderful machine. What magical blue box is complete without one?”
THEN, in the most recent episode of the series (“The Girl Who Waited”), the Doctor says:
“Maybe if I shunted the reality compensators on the TARDIS, re-calibrated the doomsday buffers, and jettisoned the karaoke bar… the TARDIS could sustain the paradox.”
I. Was. Right.

The Unicorn and the Wasp
I love this episode for it’s humor, for the adorable DoctorDonna interactions and the Agatha Christie mystery. It’s an episode that I enjoy watching for fun, and will also put on if I’m sad or not feeling well. It’s an instant mood enhancer for me. :)
