    Day 3: Favorite Animal Hero

    Robin Hood (Robin Hood)

It might just be my newly found obsession with archery, but Robin Hood is a fantastic animal hero. He is incredibly selfless, and risks his life at every turn to help others around him. What more of a hero could you want?

    Day 2: Favorite Heroine

    Fa Mulan

When it comes to being a heroine, none other come to mind than the radiant and brave Mulan. She disguised herself as a man, fled home to go to war in her father’s place, even knowing that if she was discovered, she would be put to death. Her bravery hardly compares to any other heroine in disney existence. I also have a huge amount of respect for her because if you look at some other popular disney heroines *cough*ariel*cough*, they have a tendency to do things only for themselves. Whereas Mulan does all these things and goes to great extents to keep her father safe. She’s incredibly unselfish, which is why she is obviously the greatest disney heroine ever.

The 30 Day Disney Character Challenge

Ok, before I get into this, I want to say two things.  #1 Like I said yesterday, I love/know Disney too much for this to be easy.  All of what I choose are just going to be “one of”.  #2 When I choose heroes/heroines I leave princes/princesses out of the running… I feel like they’re in a whole different league.  Ok, now my rambling is done, on with the show!!!

    2. Favorite heroine

I really just… appreciate, applaud, and commend Nani.  She (as well as Lilo) went through something huge and horrendous.  She works SO HARD to provide for Lilo, and takes on such a big responsibility as sister-turned-guardian.  Even when things are hard, she wants to do her very best for Lilo, and keep her happy.  Nani is so HUMAN, in the mistakes she makes and the hardships she goes through, but she keeps persevering and doing the right thing.

    1. Favorite hero

I’m afraid I like Disney too much for any of these questions to be easy haha  So after much deliberation, I say Eugene Fitzherbert!!

I think his character developed so much in Tangled… but when we’re getting to know him, we see how he really has a lot of dimension to him.  He eventually really cares about Rapunzel, more than himself, and more than what he’s been chasing after for a long time.  He would DIE so she could be free.  What about that DOESN’T say “love”??

(also, that way he holds Rapunzel at the end?  you know what I’m talking about.  if you hold a woman like that, with all of that freaking emotion, you are perfection)

    Day Twenty-Eight - Favorite sequel

Hmm, I didn’t really like most of the sequels that Disney released because the animation usually stinks and the voice actors don’t stay the same, or that the storyline is not up to par.

The only ones I liked were Toy Story 2, Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, and Fantasia 2000.

Toy Story 2 is my top favorite because it’s freakin’ Toy Story and it met all of my expectations. Quality animation, check. Same voice actors, check. Awesome storyline and new characters, check.

Return to the Sea was okay, I only liked it because of Jodi Benson and Samuel E. Wright ^_^

And who can hate Fantasia 2000? Top notch animation coupled with classical music is the best <3
