June: Experimental Photography

hi guys!

let’s go back to the monthly themes and challenges now that I hope to have a bit more time again for my pleasures and hobbies like seeing your works on YCP.

June will be dedicated to Experimental Photography.

No matter if digital or analogue, we all take risks, we all do experiments, some more private and never shown to anyone - even if we’re proud of. (and sometimes not so sure if they’re good).
That’s what I want to see in June:

How far did/do you go experimenting new approaches/techniques? We all know that if we don’t take risks we don’t go further… so YCP wants to see the photographs you took in which you had the guts to cross your line of comfort and experiment new photography.

YCP wants something new, refreshing, powerful: daring yourself!

You can add couple lines (not an essay!) in the submission about the experiment: what was it, if you reached the goal, etc.

Meanwhile I’ll try to write a post on 2HeadS about experimental photography, and will try to find some of them which became iconic, so it can help you.
And for the new followers, just a reminder:
YCP is about humans and creativity (physical, sociological or psychological)

cheers,

Iconic Photographs

gbenard.wordpress.com

until April 30th, the YCP theme is Iconic Photographs:

The Iconic Photograph is the one that got the best feedback from the public. The most accepted: maybe due to the context, concept, light, composition or creativity. The uniqueness of the photograph, which made it the most interesting one. Not always the one you like the most though.

a must read: Iconic Photographs (NSFW)

Submit Your most Iconic Photograph!
