Cloud Cult..:: Cloud Cult - 1x1x1 ::..
While I’m normally pretty skeptical of bands that have more than 6 members, at least Cloud Cult has an appropriate name. The best song on their latest album Love includes a pensive guitar that eventually builds to include a set of frantic drums and syncopated electronic blips. This foundation is used by cult leader Craig Minowa to muse upon the process of slowly discovering a certain someone’s true character through the course of a relationship. Much like the subject he sings about, the song also reveals a bit more about itself upon repeated listens.
