Translation: A frightful but nevertheless truthful, cruel emergency of hunger and pestilential trouble which happened in such a way in the country of Reissen (Russia?) and Lithuania in the year 1571.

Although the cheers and yells were deafening, he still heard the normal voice of a girl that had walked up to him. He raised his dark eyes to look at her and saw the bright red hair and rimmed glasses, recognizing her.
“Yeah,” he answered, giving her a glance over, not willing to let her know that he knew her. But, then again, she was the cousin of his best friend; it made sense for him to acknowledge it.
“Naruto tells me a lot about you,” she grinned and he couldn’t help but smirk in response, “About the bastard that he calls his best friend. Uzumaki Karin.”
“Good to meet you,” he said quietly, shaking her outstretched hand. Her outgoing personality definitely reminded him of Naruto while her red hair reminded him of Kushina’s; definitely an Uzumaki.
“So are here alone?”
A wider smirk; he appreciated how direct she was, straight to the point.
“Yeah.”
