1372. I hope this hasn't been done before but NejiTen, their first time meeting? :D

The first time they met was just a few days after the first day of school at the Academy.

Tenten had gone into the woods, humming happily; she had just gotten a brand new set of kunais and senbons and she wanted to test them out, to compare the quality and prices and see if it was worth it. And, of course, to keep perfecting her aim.

But when she reached her training spot, she was surprised to see someone else where. And at first she thought that it was someone she could become friends with but when she got closer she saw it was Hyuuga Neji and immediately she set her face in a scowl. As far as she concerned, Hyuuga Neji was mean and didn’t want any friends.

Words, of course, would have no use on him; the Hyuuga was a master of manipulating someone’s sentences and Tenten didn’t want to deal with that. She opened her weapons pouch and took out a senbon, closing an eye and taking careful aim just so she’d make a scratch on his shoulder, her aim was good enough for that, wasn’t it?

It was.

But he moved.

So, she was explaining as she was bandaging him, avoiding his anger glare, it really wasn’t her fault.
