Not hip-hop, but I love this song with a passion. Honestly, Lana Del Rey’s first album/mixtape was kind of disappointing. I mean I liked it, but it definitely could’ve have been much better given Lana Del Rey’s superb talent. There is one song on it though that really stands out, which is Pawn Shop Blues. The first time I listened to this song I felt like tearing up. Her voice drips with such overwhelming emotion your mind can’t help but drown in it. It’s simply one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever know.
