Sign upArchery Lesson number 1 --5/13
Phil stood against the back wall of the YC, watching as the teens all scrambled for the bows they’d claimed as their own and moved to what he bet was their ‘regular’ places on a line. Each one ran down the bow, checked it over, doing exactly what Clint had been teaching them. If Phil could ever convince the school to offer archery, he’d be begging and bribing the pleading with Clint to switch professions and come work at the school. Yeah, it’d be a drastic pay cut, but…think of all the trouble they could get into during lunch! …maybe it was better Clint didn’t come work at the school.
With a smile on his face, he waited and watched for awhile. Some of the kids were really pretty good, others seemed to be just starting out for the most part and needed extra attention from Clint.
Finally though, he pushed himself away from the wall and tucked his hands into his pockets. “So Mr. Barton…I get to try my hand at this now?”
too old for this shit || daniel/faye
[groans, pulling the last shard of wood from Daniel’s back, throwing it to the other side of the room where she put the rest of them and leans back against his headboard, waiting for him to come back to consciousness Wake up, sweetie. [growls it out more than says it sincerely, truly absolutely exhausted from everything that happened]
Getting Away || Open
Amber didn’t like parties. Not anymore at least. They always ended badly and she was never really one to socialise. She’d rather sit alone by herself and play the guitar or listen to music, but she couldn’t even do that because this time the party was in her dorm. She spent a little while there. She saw Connor and Olivia but decided that it was too overwhelming for her and she left without saying anything. Amber didn’t know what she was going to do. The weather was still shitty outside and she had no where to go. She walked up the stairs to the boys’ dorms. She passed Niall’s room and shivered slightly at the thought of him. It had been almost two months now and she hadn’t even said a word to him, not after she left his room that day. Amber had no where to go and nothing to do, so she sat down right there in the hallway, near the stairs and Niall’s dorm. She sighed and closed her eyes, resting her head on her knees. Her thoughts did what they always seemed to do, and drifted off. Amber could hear Niall’s voice.
‘Every time I kiss you. I get so happy. Whenever I see you I get so nervous but excited at the same time.’
‘I’m so happy you’re my girlfriend, Amber. I never want this to end.’
‘Your fingers fit perfectly in the spaces between mine. That’s something right?’
‘No matter what I still love you.’
Amber stood up. Obviously sitting there wasn’t helping her. Nothing seemed to help her. Amber walked down the hall, towards the set of stairs on the other side. She couldn’t go back to her dorm. She couldn’t go to sleep like she wanted to. She just wanted to get away from her own mind and she didn’t want to talk about it. Amber had already tried that but it didn’t help. Nothing helped.
