My two cents on the blue/indigo issue
The indigo color is referred to scientifically as a spectral color. It exists but the human eye isn’t able to distinguish it between the hues of blue and purple that surround it. Indigo encompasses both blues and purples, so to speak. If you look at the Wikipedia page for indigo, you will see both colors being referred to as indigo.
So indigo is a color that can’t really be seen. I think that fits very well with Equius, he’s the Heir of Void, after all.
44 Days of Witchery | Day One: Your Witchy Background
In all honesty, I’ve been looking into, and practicing Wicca for almost five years now. When I first started reading about it, I found it interesting but I didn’t really start to practice it until the second year, which is when I started dating my ex boyfriend. He too, is Wiccan. He’s the one who really got me into it, I’m grateful for that - and for him in general, he is no longer my boyfriend, sadly. However he is still one of my closest and best friends. He means the world to me, I’m not sure how I could get by without him in my life. I also have learned a decent amount from one of my other close friends, she’s always there to explain something I might not understand, and lend me things so I can continue to learn more. She’s always throwing something new at me that I’ve yet to learn. Not a super interesting background, alas it’s all mine, hope you enjoyed. :DD

December 2011: Sagittarius ♐
Self-reliance is a major theme this month as you learn that setting your own personal agenda requires some self-discipline, but allows you more control of your life. Persuasive Venus joins relentless Pluto in your 2nd House of Self-Worth on Dec. 1, revealing how important it is to reduce unessential expenditures of time, money and energy.
The Full Moon in Gemini on Dec. 10 is a Lunar Eclipse in your 7th House of Others, reminding you not to let the distractions of others’ needs come at the cost of your own well-being. Making significant decisions regarding relationships is supported by thoughtful Mercury’s direct turn in your 1st House of Self on Dec. 13, which helps you see your priorities from a fresh perspective.
The double-edged sword of friendliness is sharpened when Venus enters idealistic Aquarius on Dec. 20, making a stressful square with extravagant Jupiter. You grow more sober in your self-assessment when the Sun enters calculating Capricorn on Dec. 22, marking the Winter Solstice. This occurs in your 2nd House of Resources, in a favorable trine with Jupiter to give you a strategic view of financial matters. The Capricorn New Moon on Dec. 24 underscores economic issues, yet a stressful square to erratic Uranus could provoke reckless behavior.
Claim your power!
I know you're a Sagittarius, but why do you sometimes reblog Scorpio things? Do you have a cusp birthday or whatever that is?
Oh stars I have actually been waiting for this question.
So there’s a few ways to answer this.
The simple answer to your question is no Evie does not possess a cusp birthday. November 29th is safely within the boundaries of being a Sagittarius birthday.
However, the current popular astrological system (Sun Sign Astrology) is a watered-down and over-simplified version of what real astrology is.
There are also other kinds of astrology. Such as Sidereal Astrology. In this system November the 29th falls very safely inside the boundaries of being a Scorpio.
Astrology is actually rather complicated and when you know what you are doing is often extremely and scarily accurate. Astrology has to do with the energies that were involved at the time you were born and how those energies effect who you are and what your potential is.
On a sidenote one of the only people I’ve ever really trusted in my life is absolutely certain that I’m secretly a Scorpio although I have a personal preference for the fire sign.
So the long answer shortened is Evie identifies as both a Sagittarius and a Scorpio and tends to find that the traits from both fit her (for better or worse) rather well.
