Some thoughts on pro-choice…
I see a lot of disagreement going around on tumblr about men not having a say in a dispute against abortion because ‘they are not female’ or ‘they don’t have a uterus’ or ‘they will never know what it’s like to have to make that decision’.
While I do agree with these sentiments, I think we’re missing the point.
The point is that if I have a choice to make regarding abortion- You, male or not, are YOU and therefore NOT ME.
I make the choice about what I do with my own body and health. It has a hell of a lot less to do with you being male and a hell of a lot more to do with you NOT BEING ME.
If I suddenly vanish for potentially months in the near future here is why.
For those of you who may not know, the house I currently live in is in a serious state of disrepair. It’s only been getting worse and today we lost all power to the downstairs, including the kitchen, so we’re living off microwavable foods for now. We also have no heating, various leaky rooms and the list goes on for miles.
you know how lame and ridiculous you are when you get overly excited about a submarine sandwich you will eat tonight…
But I haven’t had any of those DELICIOUS sandwiches in almost a year. (My go to restaurant in this area closed down a while ago and all other restaurants either don’t serve them or I don’t like them. And fuck Subway, they suck) And the only other place I eat submarine sandwiches doesn’t deliver in my area and I’d have to take the metro to get some so… not really worth it lol But bf is getting me some tonight because he’s getting a car lift.. SO FINALLY I can eat a delicious pepperoni, steak cheese salad sandwich.

Aaah, today’s skiing (or rather, boarding, since I snowboard) was really nice~ The weather was a bit windy, but not too cold, except on the chairlifts, but that’s a given. It’s been fun, and I kind of got used to snowboarding again. There was this one ruin we did near the top of the mountain, and then there was so much wind. The visibility was crazy, I could barely see 20 feet in front of my face. xD Everything was white! And it took us ages to get down because we could barely see the path at all, lol. It was fun though~
Afterwards, we went grocery shopping. I wanted to buy everything. I’m not even kidding. Salmon patte, cinammon toast crunch cereal, beef jerky, swedish fish candy, everything! I’m just… Stunned at the stuff available. And they have pop tarts!! I haven’t eaten those in years~
And afterwards, I went to this bookshop, and pretty much stayed there for an hour. @_@ It’s so comfy and warm, with a cafe in the back, and a ladder, and <33333 I just love that place. I could live there. And the cashier was so friendly, and helped me choose which books to buy. ;u; She even said to my parents, “At least she isn’t spending that money on drugs or something, right?” XD Ah, it’s so much nicer than the HK bookshops, and with better book selection and variety and stuff. ;u; I could live there forever. Seriously, you take me there and give me internet, I don’t even need it. That’s the gravity of the situation. That’s saying a lot.
