Skinny Puppy - Worlock

From the 1989 album Rabies on Nettwerk Records. Sure, there are hundreds of clones out there, but Skinny Puppy defined this sound. This is one of the most memorable songs from my teenage years. Once that chorus kicks in, the hairs on the back of my neck always stand at attention.

  • Alec:I really don't think they fit
  • Magnus:darling, please come out of the bedroom, I'm sure you look wonderful
  • Alec:no really, I think I look like...
  • Magnus:me? Well they are my clothes--
  • Alec:*enters in platform boots and studded leather*
  • Magnus:... *shifts in his seat and indicates for Alec to turn around* now just stay... right... there.
  • Alec:you don't think the pants are too tight?
  • Magnus:n-no

Would you rather have Malec adopt a shadowhunter child or a worlock child. Personally I think they should adopt a worlock child so when Alec is gone Magnus still has someone with him. Also if they adpot a male child they should name him Max.

I’m honestly not sure which I’d rather have them adopt.  On the one hand, if they got a warlock child he would be immortal like Magnus, but then he’d watch Alec die (which he would anyways because Alec is older) and would live the rest of his life without one of his parents.  Plus I feel like Alec wouldn’t have as close a relationship with the child as Magnus would because he’d be a warlock and therefore learn more from Magnus.  On the other hand, if they adopt a shadowhunter child then he would probably be pretty close to Alec as well because they’re both shadowhunters and therefore Alec would probably oversee a lot of his training.  But then Magnus would lose both his husband and his child eventually, which wouldn’t exactly be a happy ending to me.  So, I kind of have mixed feelings on that subject :/

Some days, you jump out of bed, raring to go and face the world.

Other days, not so  much.

If you’re having a not so much kind of day, remember the Winter Worlock:

“Put one foot in front of the other / And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor. / Put one foot in front of the other / And soon you’ll be walking out the door.”

Yeah, it’s Thursday.

Love to you all – Deb
