My calves weren’t fully recovered for yesterdays leg workout so I was hesitant on going all out, but I did anyway. Surprisingly, I could walk this morning so it was probably good that I pumped all of that blood into my sore spots.
We focused on upper body today:
15 x 3 Bench press 30lb dumbbells
12 x 3 Diagonal flys 10lb dumbbells
12 x 3 Shoulder press 17.5 dumbbells
12 x 3 Bicep curls 17.5 dumbbells
12 x 3 Assisted pull up (descending weight 50 - 40 - 20)
40 straight push ups without stopping
After weight training I always do 15 minutes of interval training. Today was on the stairclimber, but I switch it up between that and the elliptical, spin bike, and treadmill. It helps move that lactic acid around so that I don’t end up incapacitated later on!
