Fluorite, Quartz and Wolframite - From the Hunan Province in China, a spectacular specimen of red-violet fluorite on quarz, with wolframite. The large fluorite crystal measures about 1” square. Photographed through the glass display case at the Tucson Rock and Gem Show 2013, at the Tucson Convention Center. The theme of this year’s show is fluorite.

It is said to be a stone which encourages a spirit of adventure, to accept new people, see new things, travel to new places, and above all to be more flexible in life to changes, and less rigid.
