Hey Guys, It’s time for another installment of my written blog, the Shamrambler. I’ve not done one of these in a while, so for those of you who enjoy reading these, I’m sorry, and I’m gonna try and start writing these more often.
So, I feel like I have a lot to catch up on. The Christmas holidays seems like a good place to start. So, I spent most of the Christmas holidays at home, with the family. I love my family to pieces, they’ve always been nothing but supportive, and was glad to be able to spend some time with them. Although, I had assignments to do, so I didn’t spend as much time with them as I’d like.
Also spent New Year with the Family too, before heading back to Uni for a few days to finish off. Could’ve gone out with mates, but I didn’t really feel like it, and I needed to actually work on these assignments the next day. I wouldn’t have been able to work on an essay with a hangover.
With New Years, comes the tradition of New Years Resolutions. I try and make resolutions every year, and I usually break them within 2 or 3 months. This year, as every year, I’ve set myself some rather generic resolutions. The first one is to lose weight. Now, I know it’s quite generic, but I do really need to lose weight. I’m rather fat, and kinda see myself as the human equivalent of Snorlax, from the first generation of Pokemon. I’m serious! I’m fat, Lazy, and enjoy sleeping. Therefore, I’m the human equivalent to Snorlax. So, I need to lose weight.
My second New Years resolution was to eat better, but that’s gone down the drain. I thought this would go hand in hand with the weight loss thing, which is will, I just need to break the habits I’m in, and get into better ones.
When it comes to my opinions, and I feel that New Years Resolutions are made with good intentions, but are rarely seen through fully. This is why I’ve adopted an idea that I heard on Youtube. I’m subscribe to various ShayCarl channels on Youtube, including the one he posts the “When the Kids go to Sleep” podcast on. If you haven’t checked it out, have a listen, it’s quite good :) But anyway, He suggested that, instead of having Yearly Resolutions, you have Daily Resolutions, and try and follow those instead. So, I’ve not actually made any as yet, but I will be soon.
Anyway, that’s probably enough for one instalment. I’ll try and make this a more frequent thing. I’ll try and post more videos too.
Until next time Ramblers, Adios!
