Originally I wanted to make a Blue Berry Sorbet, but since no one wanted to wait for it to freeze I just decided to make a shake instead. I went to the kitchen with no recipe or plan and created a Blueberry-Grape concoction that my family and I really liked, so I thought I’d share it with you. Here is the recipe:
2 cups of Frozen Blueberries, or regular Blueberries whatever suits you best (I added a little more than 2 cups because I had just a small amount left and wanted to get rid of the bag of Blueberries.)
About ½ a cup of Water, or however much you want
3 Cups of Spinach
2 Cups of Red Grapes
And 1 Tbs. of Honey (I added this before the spinach and grapes because the blueberries were a little sour, but the grapes were sweet enough so next time I wont add any honey.)
This served three people, but the serving size was small so you can add a little more of each ingredient, or just add more water if you want to serve three or more people.
Now, I just made this spur of the moment so it might not be amazing, but I thought it was good so I wanted to share it with my light worker friends. Healthy eating or in this case drinking does wonders for the body, mind and spirit. Namaste to all of you, and hope you enjoy this if you decide to make it.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bliss Shake vegan, makes one tall shake
2 scoops vanilla soy or coconut ice cream 1 tbsp vegan chocolate fudge sauce 2 Tbsp peanut butter, chunky ¼ cup soy milk or creamer (more decadent) soy cream whipped topping optional: diced banana mashed into the shake (or use a blender to puree a frozen banana)
Directions: Hand mash the ice cream, soy milk, fudge and 1 Tbsp of peanut butter. Mash until a malt-thickness forms. Then top with another scoop of peanut butter, soy whipped cream and some extra fudge sauce if desired. Serve with a tall spoon.
