I think our favorite set of the day yesterday was probably Marina & The Diamonds. Both Alyson & I shot the first few songs then we joined Leila & Brittany up on the steps to dance for the rest. Marina is such a performer, we had a blast. -amanda

Our girl Micah is looking uber-fierce in her rad femme get-up! I love the way she pairs her Grey Sk8-Hi Slims with a vintage handbag and oversized camo jacket (a major trend for this fall!). How do you rock your Sk8-Hi’s? -brittany

Boston, you might have been a freezing-icy-rainy-slushy-snowy and all things in between mess this week but your ladies still showed up to our House of Vans pop up looking on point. While us California babes were tempted to wear sleeping bags to the shows, you guys showed us how the cold weather wear is done. Nice work.

Found this super babe walking around the Boston Commons, and looking absolutely perfect in her Sk8-hi’s! Who WOULDN’T track down this girl for a photo? She’s wearing 3 of my favorite things: a Harley Davidson tee, leopard print, and Vans. I’m in love. -brittany

Ok. I have said this before, and I’ll say it again - I am NOT built for the cold. Currently it is 40 degrees outside, and yes, I am ready to sprint back to California for some heat. Luckily I’ve been kept warm with my Franny fleece sweater, and my vast array of Bennies Beanies (although I’m not wearing it now…I totally LIVE in those things!) People said I’d be miserable, and sure I had my doubts, but it is becoming rather clear that they were totally right. SIGH. Maybe I’m just not made for East Coast weather. -brittany

It was a blast hanging out with Vans Surf’s Leila Hurst in Boston recently. We thought she looked so cute in the Love Vans Pullover sweater from our upcoming Fall line. This fleece should be available in all of our US stores this August! -alyson

Meet Jenny, the lead singer and killer babe behind indie-band Dirty Dishes. This girl has been making some noise in the Boston scene for the last decade, but has transplanted herself into my hometown, Los Angeles! I fell in love with this girl’s music and obvious shared taste in style fairly recently (she’s killing it in those red Authentics), and totally felt the need to introduce you all to her pure AWESOMENESS. Check out why you need to know about Jenny, and her band Dirty Dishes. -brittany

One of my favorite things about the new fall line is the colors.  There are some awesome jewel tones happening, especially with this version of our Realm Backpack and the Rainbow Snake Old Skools.-alyson

When we were in Boston we shot a bunch of our favorite Fall looks on the pier & at the aquarium gift shop we loaded up on rock candy haha. We thought it looked cute with Amanda’s Translucent Vans Tee, our Extreme Skinny denim, and black Authentics. The jeans & shoes are available now online & the tee will be hitting all Vans stores this month. -alyson

It may be 100 degrees outside, but I’ve already got my mind on Fall. This week I just got my hands on some killer new Vans Fall 2013 gear, and I’m so excited to shoot some fun looks for you all. I’m crushing pretty hard on all the rad pullovers, including the Love Vans sweater. Cold weather… where are you when I actually want you!? -brittany

The Boston Calling music festival happened over the weekend, and we spotted some cute style!  Boston’s really stepping their game up with boho-inspired outfits… and of course, throwing some Vans in the mix always makes it more awesome.  Check back later today for some more style shots! -alyson

Once the sun peeks through the clouds, the babes come out to play. I ran into some majorly stylish ladies during my lunch stroll through Newbury St. who clearly share my love for a good pair of Sk8-hi’s. Boston has some serious hidden gems when it comes to street style, and I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can continue to do some exploring through this new city of mine.  -brittany

Been getting in a great deal of city exploring lately as sunny days call for me to stop being such a homebody (womp womp). This weekend I made it a point to check out parts of Boston I haven’t been able to see since the snow had it covered for 6 long months. In about 2 weeks Amanda and Alyson will be joining me in Boston, where more city exploration will definitely be taking place. Can NOT wait! -brittany

Since I was little I’ve always been into doing things on my own. From insisting on tying my own shoes (when I actually didn’t know how), to making my own clothes, I’ve always been a firm believer in the DIY method. With that being said, I’m pretty stoked on the awesome Vans Customs Shop where you can design your own shoes. I had way too much fun mixing and matching patterns and colors, and was hardly able to settle on just ONE design. In the end I chose a design that perfectly embodies my taste & style: bold animal print and a good color-block. Now my hair can match my shoes! -brittany

The best things in life are in California. That is something I learned quickly during my one year stay in Boston. Some may argue that one year is in no way enough time to actually experience a city to its fullest, but I feel as though during my stay I was able to experience so much about my new home, as well as myself. I met some of the greatest people, and experienced things completely out of my comfort zone. It was magical. One thing in particular I learned, amongst other things, is that you don’t truly appreciate and love your hometown until you’re placed in a totally different place for some time. One year was enough for me to realize just how in love I am with Southern California. Honey, I’m home. -brittany

When all four of us saw this tee from our upcoming Fall line, we immediately knew Brittany could rock it just right. It was only fitting for us to shoot a Boston Terrier tee while we were in Boston haha! You’ll see this fun graphic showing up as a few items for Fall including a Fugative Dog pullover fleece in grey that will hit all of our US stores in August. -alyson

Get the look: Fugitive dog tee available 7/15 online, Tiger Authentics, Vans Skinny Denim, Men’s Alameda Woven shirt.

When running around Boston late at night, you may come across one of two things: obnoxiously loud college students, or extremely well-dressed females. Luckily for me, this past Saturday night I encountered the better of the two. Meet Brittany - I found her strolling down Boylston rocking the leather black Sk8-Hi platforms like nobodies business. It’s funny because I’ve sort of grown this weird habit of jumping out of my skin every time I come across a cute girl in Vans…Hopefully she didn’t mind too much that impromptu photo shoot. Beware stylish ladies of Boston…I’m coming for you. -brittany
