Side by Side Comparison of Valley Key Club at Run or Dye 2013 & 2014!

In 2013, Valley Key Club attended Run Or Dye with only twelve members, but this year, over fifty members from Valley High School attended Run Or Dye and completed 474 hours of community service! Valley High School was also the largest group that attended the event. Outstanding job, Vikings!

Now the big question is, what else can we accomplish this year? 

Valley Key Club 2014-2015 Extended Board Interviews

At approximately 2:30PM, candidates lined up at the door, professionally dressed and ready to be interviewed! Each candidate was diligently interviewed for positions such as Class Representative, Historian, or Sergeant-At-Arms. Good job to all of the candidates!

Event Recap | First General Meeting of 2014-2015!

On Wednesday, September 3rd, Valley Key Club held their first general meeting of the 2014 - 2015 school year with over 160 attendees!
At this meeting, attendees were able to learn more about key club, eat, and get acquainted with one another by playing icebreakers.
What a great turn out!

Region 5 Training Conference 

It’s that time of year again! RTC is right around the corner and this year’s theme is…Throwback to the 90s!

Do you love the 90s? Do you love cheering and showing your spirit? Then get ready to cheer your heart out with your fellow key clubbers from Region 5 on October 18th, 2014, from 8am-3pm at Centennial High School!

Event Recap | Viva Bike Vegas

Downtown Las Vegas was filled with cheers during the Viva Bike Vegas event! At this event, volunteers cheered on bikers, posted up time results, and handed out medals. Viva Bike Vegas also awarded Valley Key Club with a recognition award! Way to go, Vikes!

Event Recap | September DCM at SECTA High School!

Valley Key Club was able to attend the September DCM at SECTA High School on Thursday afternoon. At this DCM, they learned about what other clubs had been up to through President’s Reports, bonded with other key clubbers by taking lots of pictures together, learned more about upcoming events, and congratulated their Vice President of Service, Marie Hashitani, when she was awarded D28S Officer of the Month!

#VKCPhotoContest: Who Will Win?

On Thursday, August 14th, 2014, Valley Key Club held a contest to see who could take the best photo with our Instagram poster!

Are you interested in finding out who the three winners of this contest will be? Then make sure you attend our first general meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd in Room 200!

Event Recap | D28 August Joint DCM at Desert Breeze Park

Tuesday morning was lots of fun for Valley Key Clubbers and their LTG! At the DCM, members of D28 in Las Vegas were able to listen to President’s Reports, and special announcements from the three Las Vegas LTG’s. Luckily, for Club of the Month Awards, Valley Key Club was awarded for the month of August for administrative hard work to plan for summer service and inter-club events! Afterwards, they played a huge ice breaker, and took lots and lots of photos! Hope you guys had fun! 

Event Recap | Run for Recovery 5k!

On Saturday, September 7th, Valley Key Clubbers woke up bright and early to do some service!

At this event, members cheered on runners with energy and bright smiles.

Event Recap | #MNTBowlingNight with Liberty Key Club

Saturday evening was awesome for both Valley and Liberty Key Club. Members were able to go to Sunset Station Bowling Strike Zone and bowl to raise funds for The Eliminate Project. Members also were able to connect and network with each other, and have a fun time eating food and dancing to the cosmic bowling soundtrack that was being played.

Event Recap | Dash ‘n’ Splash

Valley Key Clubbers had the opportunity to spend one of their last days of summer at this fun event! Members were able to help fill up water balloons, set up flagpoles, banners, and set up pins with runner’s numbers.
Afterwards, members were able to participate in an awesome water balloon fight and bonded with the community and with each other as a club. What a great way to end the summer!
