If Batman took a break from fighting crime and decided to get crafty, he might make something like this adorable ornamental bat house to hang inside the Batcave. This spooktacular little upside-down house is called Mus. It was created by Spanish design studio Estres in effort to demonstrate that having bats around is beneficial.

From the Organization for Bat Conservation:

"Bats are not pests, they actually help control insect pests. An individual bat can eat thousands of mosquito-sized insects in one night. Bats are critical components to many ecosystems because they help control insect populations, pollinate flowers and fruit bats aid in seed dispersal."

While the Mus bat house may be purely ornamental, you can build your own functional bat house/bat box. Click here for more information, complete plans, instructions and a video tutorial.
