5 Valentine's Day Ideas (or Gifts) for Her

Valentine’s Day is just less than a week from today! I’ve always enjoyed Valentine’s Day mainly because of how men become ninjas to plan a surprise for their special someone or how a guy turns into a man to step up and confess his feelings for a special someone (v-day gives men a huge dump of confidence!). So, for the male population, have you planned your Valentine’s Day surprise for your ladies (since I am talking to the male population I’ve pluralized the word “lady”, I’m not saying you can go on a million dates on that day with your other ladies! and I’m also not advertising polygamy! hahaha!) yet? If you haven’t, let me share to you 5 Ideas (or gifts!) for her.

I handpicked these ideas and I’m sure it’ll sweep off your girlfriend’s or your date’s feet on Valentine’s Day (these work on anniversaries too!)!

1. Give her flowers

Flowers don’t necessarily have to come in huge bouquets with a fancy arrangement and with fancy wrapping paper. I, personally, am contented with a stem of a rose. Your girlfriend might say she doesn’t like flowers or she can get away without being given one, but trust me on this, she likes flowers and she likes receiving them. I have once told an old boyfriend I don’t like flowers, but honestly, I do, I think it’s sweet to receive them. Heee.

Surprise her with flowers before or during or after the date. :) Flowers are extremely pretty that they can be given at any time of the day!

2. Write her a love letter

Nothing is more powerful than a hand-written letter with a man’s confession (and or profession) of his love for a woman that has caught his attention. I am a sucker for love letters. They’re just very sincere. Make your love letter as personal as possible. Don’t just buy a “Happy Valentine’s Day” card and expect Hallmark to do the greeting for you. Grab a pen and a paper (or papers) and get started, Shakespeare!
