Even for a film this minimalistic, unhurried, and narratively loose, it is full of so many surprises, especially when it comes to the character’s actions and their hidden darker personalities, and each small unexpected scene just works so well and still feels very much realistic and even slightly (and disturbingly) earned, making this indie drama quite thrilling and suspenseful indeed.
