Well, that is done. My last 5 minute plank. My last plank for the month of May!

I had some time to get it out of the way this morning, so I went for it. It felt harder than it did last night.  Apparently two glasses of wine makes for easier planking. Who knew?

Ok, so thoughts on this challenge?

Let’s just say that I didn’t think I would do it. I didn’t think I would follow through the whole month. And I certainly didn’t not think that a 5 minute plank was attainable for me.
But, I definitely proved otherwise and that is always a good thing! I will try and always provide opportunities for me to prove myself wrong. Pushing myself is a grand thing. A grand thing, indeed.

Alright, Thoughts and Happy, it is your turn!! ;)

See Chris? We are not alone :)

My favorites were 14 an 19. Especially 14, I am still laughing about it.

II am not sure I understood all of it, but some were pretty funny. I liked 19. That was a good one. #6 wasn’t too bad either.

I saw this today on Facebook. There are definitely some that most folks won’t understand!

I love these!!! :D I got all, except 12 :/

I didn’t get this one either. I kept looking for whatever obvious thing I was missing, but couldn’t see it!

Can anyone help us out?

Thanks for the feedback!

The jump rope one intrigued me too. It has been a while since I have jump roped at all. So, I may give it a go!
But, then I did like the idea of adding in squats and push ups and crunches. So, I think I will do a combination of all three of these.

Hopefully the end result doesn’t take up too much time. One nice thing about the plank challenge is that I couldn’t really claim I didn’t have time. I mean, obviously, the most time it ever took was 5 minutes.

So, we will see how this goes. I think I will try and make up my own calendar with a combo of these. I will post when I am done.

I’m in the same boat with a 15 year old and a 3 year old. Litte one only wears them at night and has had about 40% dry nights this month. I will be very happy when she doesn’t need them any more.

Yep! Sounds about right. We haven’t “tested” the little one’s ability to hold it all night in a while. The last couple times were a fail. We are about due to try again. Not sure she will ever have dry diaper when she wakes up. Her little subconscious knows the diaper is there to fall back on;)

How am I supposed to comment on this when there’s a bajillion thoughts in here? Yes, water will cancel the coffee out ;) Weather is an enabler. Yay hoodie! Approved. Football? Ew. 500 MILES!

lol :)

Yes, we have done the same thing. And ironically it has probably cost us more in the long run…but oh well. We just finished paying off Charly’s visit from last year.
I need to get in to see the dentist, but that will probably be after Nate and Charly are done and then after Aydan and Peyten. So…ya know, in five years!! lol

thoughtsfloataround said: I have never eaten brussel sprouts. I don’t think we have those here. I will have to put those in my food to try list, along with kale.

Yeah, if you can find them, try them. It is one of those vegetables that people either like…or they don’t. I think of them as miniature sweet little cabbages. They are like candy to me. I prefer them roasted or steamed and sautéed.

milesofbooks said: Brussels sprouts are my favorite!

They are definitely in my #1 spot as far as veggies go.

clevcrew said: i just love them so much too. i cant even stand it!

I completely understand. I have an unnatural love for the little buggers too, lol. I almost ate the other half of the batch I made 2 hours after I ate the first half. That is a lot of sprouts. But, I held back…I will enjoy them thoroughly tomorrow…I might even wait for lunch ;)

grandmadeb said: OMG I am drooling. We can’t get those here in OK. I know they aren’t healthy, but they are so delicious. And your brussel sprouts look good. Kind of balances out the meal.

Mark ate his right up. He still remembers eating them at your house when we were in high school :) Yeah, not great to have all the time, but every now and again, it is a nice treat.
