Korra Week: Day 6 → Wisdom

"What if Avatar Wan made a mistake when he closed the portals? What if humans and spirits weren’t meant to live apart?"

maybe, if we still deserve such a thing as mercy, we find each other

I think it’s really fucking weird how the simplest questions can bring back complicated memories, and then go unanswered. I think it’s crazy how people can just stop talking and forget they ever did. I find it strange how we find metaphors in blowing blades of grass and winding gravel paths. I think it’s absolutely wondrous how we all fall asleep and dream about things we can’t even imagine. I think it’s fucking crazy that we can fall in love and fall apart so quickly. I think it’s so beautiful that we all die insignificant to the universe, but completely significant to somebody.

The Mac Tirs + Ferelden
The name "Mac Tir" means "son of the land."
It was bestowed upon Loghain by King Maric after the Battle
of River Dane.
The Fereldan people considered the name highly appropriate:
to them, Teyrn Loghain was a son of the entire nation,
and he was famously said to have told a crowd
that Ferelden would forever be "part of his blood"
