I believe that scarves are a basic necessity for any closet and, just like nail polish, can pull any outfit together and make it look chic and cool. Scarves are not just another accessory, they are the staple piece of an outfit. I always find myself wearing neutral colors, especially black, and I love how a colorful scarf can completely transform my plain outfit and make it look different. I tend to gravitate toward scarves with vibrant colors and hand drawn prints because they are eye catching and make my outfit pop and stand out. The scarves I get the most use out of are the ones made by Theodora & Callum.
The fact that scarves can be worn year round makes me love them even more. I have different scarves for different times of the year. I have cashmere and wool ones for the winter and cotton and linen ones for the summer. Additionally, the fact that scarves can be worn so many different ways makes me love them even more. I wear scarves as a headband, as a belt, just wrapped around my neck, as a cover up, and as a top. I also own a few solid pashmina scarves that are a must have for those cold summer nights.
Look what I just received in the mail! Some fabulous Essie Nail Polish colors and a lovely Thank You note from my favorite accessories brand–Theodora & Callum! So excited to rock these new colors for Spring! Thank you guys so much!! @theodoraandcallum
Hanging out at the Arbor on campus today in my “Tan Multi Fiji Tie All Scarf.” Although it’s beautifully sunny, the weather still has that Winter chill and this scarf is the perfect accessory to keep me warm!
I went for the army-inspired look today pairing my scarf with olive pants, ankle booties and a draped black sweater.

A little blast from the past today! I was so excited when I first received by “Blue-Multi-Navajo-Tie-All” Scarf, I decided to host a little photoshoot in my backyard! I accessorized this piece with some tribal, beaded bracelets and matching wedges.
I also wore this scarf as a dress to the beach in Kauai, Hawai'i during Summer 2011. It is so easy to throw on over swimsuits with a pair of sandals, and tie to your preference.
To see how I tied this into a dress, check out T&C’s “Ways to Wear” Page, under “Perfect Day” style, or connect to this link on YouTube.
