Song Parody:

We Are the Trio

(to the tune of “We Are the Champions” by Queen.)

Harry’s paid his dues
Time after time
Sirius did his sentence, but committed no crime!
And bad mistakes, I’ve not done to you.
And the Dementers tried to kiss my face
But I’ll never lose!
And the trio’s going on and on and on and on

We are the trio my friends
And we’ll keep on casting till the end
We are the trio
We are the trio
No time for Voldy, cause we are the trio
Save the World!

Ron’s taken his falls
And his Howler calls
Harry has too much fame and fortune and everything that goes with it
He hates it all!
But there’s always been Voldy,
He’ll always lose!
And the trio’s going on and on and on and on

We are the trio my friends
And we’ll keep on casting till the end
Yeah, Severus Snape is a mystery
Abusing his right to teach…

You came in screamin’ aloud,
“Page 394!”
You’re Neville’s worst fear, and Ron’s bored to tears, oh
You give us an essay
And a know-it-all grin
Just to cry “Werewolf!” on our friend Lupin

You’re horrible
A horrible, messed up man
Do you support the good or evil side?

Yeah, Snape is a mystery…

hermioniegranger asked:

the golden trio! :)

Yayay :) thanks for sending them in.

  • How I feel about this character: I love Harry. I feel like he is really under-appreciated, and that makes me sad. I wish people would stop not liking him as much as others. People love to judge him for his outbursts, and it annoys me. All his emotions and reactions are completely justified. He is seriously an angel. Don’t even get me started.
  • All the people I ship romantically with this character: Draco and Ginny. I love him with both of them so much. I can’t even choose which one I like him with more.
  • My non-romantic OTP for this character: Love love LOVE his relationship with Hermione. Don’t get me wrong, his friendship with Ron is great too.. but Hermione and Harry just have a different kind of friendship that is more “action-oriented” which I really think is awesome. They don’t let each other get away with things, they’re always honest with each other, and they will protect each other something fierce.
  • My unpopular opinion about this character: I DO NOT SHIP HIM ROMANTICALLY WITH HERMIONE. I feel like a lot of people secretly hoped they would end up together, but I never saw their relationship like that… at all.
  • One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I really wish he would have at least became friends with Draco in the end. It would have satisfied my shipping needs a little bit.

  • How I feel about this character: I adore Hermione, and she was my first favorite character from the series. I relate to her a lot. I feel like we approach things similarly, although I am not as into logical things as she is.
  • All the people I ship romantically with this character: FRED WEASLEY and Ron Weasley.
  • My non-romantic OTP for this character:  Harry.. for the above reasons. I also really love her friendship with Ginny. Both of them are more tomboys in their own ways (I think they both relate to guys more) so it is good they can be friends and understand each other in a way that most girls can’t.
  • My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t ship her with Draco. I think Dramione is hot when you look at it from an Emma and Tom standpoint, but I just can’t see them together romantically. I know that is a big ship, and I don’t have a problem with it.. but it is just not for me.
  • One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Oh.. I don’t know.. MAYBE FRED COULD HAVE NOT HAVE DIED AND SHE ENDED UP WITH HIM LIKE SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO??

  • How I feel about this character: Like everyone, I love Ron. It is hard not to love him. I admire his loyalty to Harry, and I just think he is very selfless and does so many great things for others.
  • All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hermione. I also have this humorous thought that if Fred lived and Hermione did end up with him, he would end up with Lavender again, but she wouldn’t be as clingy and weird as they tried to make her seem before.
  • My non-romantic OTP for this character: I love Ron with Harry. I think it is pretty self-explanatory. I also like his relationship with the twins. They’re a good team.
  • My unpopular opinion about this character: Ron isn’t one of my absolute favorite characters, even though I do love him. I think that is odd, because Ron is usually in people’s top 3-5 characters.
  • One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I always wanted Ron to punch Malfoy or beat someone up messing with Harry. I know this seems incredibly weird.. but I always imagined Ron so tall and intimidating to his peers if you pissed him off.. I just think it would have been interesting to see him show his loyalty to Hermione or Harry that way.. Fighting isn’t the best way to go, obviously, but it just always surprised me that he never did actually physically fight someone. I guess that’s just not Ron.

Ron Weasley offered the stranger sitting next to him on the train half his sandwich, even though it was all he had.

Ron Weasley sacrificed himself for the good of Harry and Hermione at age eleven, because even then he thought they were more important than he was, and the ones worth saving.

Ron Weasley was Harry Potter’s first friend, and the first thing Harry ever had resembling a family.

Ron Weasley lived in a cramped house, and wore hand me down robes, and he didn’t even think twice about offering his room and food and family to Harry every break, he offered him every thing he could and gave him everything he had.

Ron Weasley took care of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger when they were too busy taking care of the rest of the world to worry about themselves.

Ron Weasley stood on broken bones when he was thirteen years old, to tell a man infamous for murder that if he planned on killing his best mate, he would have to go through him first.

Ron Weasley was the person Harry would miss most in the world.

Ron Weasley was a pureblood wizard who, from a very young age, devoted his life to abolishing blood status, even if he didn’t quite understand his own privilege.

Ron Weasley’s greatest fears and insecurities were tied up in his two best friends seeing him the way he saw himself. They were tied up in the idea, imbedded deeply in Ron Weasley, that he was somehow inferior.

Ron Weasley gave Dobby his own clothes and socks to be buried in, because he understood how important it would have been to him.

Ron Weasley thought about saving the house elves when everyone else forgot.

If you don’t love Ron Weasley, The Boy Who Cared, I don’t know what books you read but they weren’t the same ones I did.
