Comparing the founding of the State of
Israel on May 14, 1948 with a religious Bar Mitzvah ceremony may seem a
bit far-fetched, but to millions of Jews this proclamation represented
freedom from discrimination and escape from persecution – and being
subject to a new reliable law. Mazal Tov Israel!
