“El Chino” Marcos Maidana vs @AdrienBroner on December 14th on @ShoSports. Another classic boxer vs brawler match.

Who are you guys picking for the win? #TeamMaidana or #TeamBroner?

-Edit by @CrownBoxing

A confident Maidana told Lem Satterfield of TheRing: “the fans don’t like Broner, so in this fight, I think that I’m the favorite with the fans. But I don’t think that will be a factor if the fight goes to the cards.

I don’t think that it will be a factor that I’m a favorite with the fans, because they want Broner to win. They want him to keep going.” He went on to say, “I think that my advantage will be that Adrien Broner is a guy that stays in one spot and likes to take punches and try to block punches. But he’ll drop his guard at some point.

When he does that, that will help me, because once he puts his guard down and stays in one spot, you know what the outcome is going to be.

I’m going to cut off the ring and I’m going to make him stand still and fight and throw a lot of punches at him from the time that the bell rings. I’m never going to allow him to get comfortable in the fight.

I’m not going to let him get going on his plan of work. I’m going to make #AdrienBroner as uncomfortable as I can. That will lead to the stoppage.

I know for a fact that once he feels my punches and my power, that @AdrienBroner will either quit or end up getting knocked out, because he has never been tested. Trust me: I have the power to knock him out.” Are you #TeamMaidana or #TeamBroner? Edit: @OGBluMercury / @TheKJungle

Let’s Go Adrien!!!

According to @GoldenBoyBoxing’s Richard Scaefer, Paul Malignaggi (32-4,7KOs) vs @AdrienBroner (26-0,22KOs) is close to being a done deal. The fight would take place June 22nd and be the main event at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Keep in mind that Broner would be moving up 2 weight classes for this fight to challenge Malignaggi for his WBA Welterweight title.

Who do you guys got on this? #TeamMalignaggi or #TeamBroner?

Now that the weigh ins are done, who are you guys picking for tomorrow night’s @ShoSports fight? #TeamBroner or #TeamMalignaggi?

*@BoxingFanatik picks @AdrienBroner by late round TKO stoppage. The thing about Malignaggi is that he doesn’t have the power (7 KOs in 36 pro fights) to keep Adrien Broner off of him. Not to mention that the last time we saw Malignaggi fight, his own hometown of Brooklyn was booing him at The Barclays Center after he was given a gift split decision over Pablo Cesar Cano. A fight in which a slow out of shape Cano (who missed weight) was able to land 108 more power punches than Malignaggi during their fight.

Malignaggi has lost every “big” fight that he’s ever been in: Cotto, Hatton, Juan Diaz, and Khan. Saturday night at The Barclays Center will probably be no different. I think Malignaggi is past his prime, and “The Problem” Adrien Broner stops Malignaggi late to win his 147 lb WBA Welterweight Title. #BoxingFanatik.
