superheroes..

Did you guys ever hear of Fray Tormenta? He was a priest in mexico that became a masked wrestler to raise money for children in need… He had to wrestle masked cause people wouldnt take him seriously if they knew he was a priest.
(Jack Black’s Nacho Libre is loosely based on his life)

"…he supported an orphanage for 23 years as a lucha libre wrestler. While performing, he wore a red and yellow mask and used the ring name Fray Tormenta. He made only sporadic in-ring appearances in the 2000s before retiring completely from wrestling in July 2011, but still wears his mask even in his duties as a priest.” (X)

IT’S WARFSTACHE VERSUS WARFSTACHE! SPEEDRUNNER MARKIPLIER MUST SAVE TINY BOX TINA FROM THE EVIL WILFORD WARFSTACHE. WILL HE AND TINY BOX TIM SUCCEED? FIND OUT NEXT TIME!

…no but seriously I’m so happy with this. This was a request in my art livestream yesterday, but I didn’t want to just leave it as a sketch! I HAD to color this, and I even changed up a few things! For one, I added xpsychohogx's Tiny Box Tina, because adding a hostage to the situation made it more heartfelt AND I CRIED…

I also added in some magic because, well that’s my reasoning for Wilford Warfstache being able to fly. Yes.

AND FUN FACT. I DREW THIS YESTERDAY WHEN markiplier WAS DRESSED WITH THE PINK STACHE AGAIN. IT’S REAL LIFE. HE’S A SUPER HERO (OR VILLAIN)

The Anthology will feature queer/LGBTQA+ identified creators, highlighting their own interpretation of the superhero genre.

We’re seeking comic pitches until March 20th, 2015.

The Secret Life Of Superhero Toys By Edy Hardjo

Hrjoe Photography’s playful and expertly-executed photos prove that superhero action figures aren’t just for kids. Edy Hardjo, the photographer behind the project, uses detailed, high-quality action figures to put some of our favorite superheros into hilarious and sometimes compromising positions.

After putting the figures into their picture-perfect poses, he removes the stands he uses to prop them and some of the more obvious joints with Photoshop to make them seem more life-like. For someone who picked up photography as a hobby, he certainly does an exceptional job!

In an interview with Shutterbug, Hardjo explained “I use my daily experience as source of ideas… All I do is replace the ‘usual’ thing with the ‘unusual.’”
