1 large English cucumber, peeled and diced (about 3 cups) 2 1/4 cups Stonyfield Organic Lowfat 1% Milk 1 1/2 cups Stonyfield Organic Lowfat Plain Yogurt, divided 1/3 cup lime juice (4-5 limes), divided 2 large avocados, quartered, pitted, peeled, divided 1 small red onion finely chopped, divided 1/4 cup basil chopped, divided Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup seeded chopped tomato
In a blender, combine cucumber, milk, 3/4 cup of yogurt, and lime juice (reserve 1 teaspoon of lime juice) and blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Add half of each of the following ingredients: avocado and onion, basil, and salt and pepper to taste and blend. Divide soup evenly between 6 bowls. In a medium bowl, (do not use a metal bowl) add remaining avocado, onion, basil, and additional salt and pepper to taste, plus 1 teaspoon of lime juice. Garnish each bowl of soup with avocado mixture and dollop of remaining yogurt and chopped tomatoes. Serve.
Welp. These cavities are no fun anymore, and recently I learned that it IS in fact possible to “regrow” your teeth… Remineralization exists, folks. I always thought it was odd when dentists made it seem like if you had a cavity or some sort of minor oral unrest going on in your situation, that it’s virtually IMPOSSIBLE to improve your oral nightmare without their fluoride cancer paste, root canals, extractions, etc. Now, this doesn’t mean all oral ailments can be solved naturally, as some are more serious than others… But, there have been cases of cavities healing themselves, and optimizing your vitamin d (and supplement with d3, of course… Not that d2 nonsense) and switching to a healthier diet seems to be the root (lol get it) cause of reversed tooth decay. In addition to regularly maintaining dental hygiene.
I haven’t exactly been eating well lately living on a budget, and my fiancées diet is awful. I think it’s time for a change. Not to say that I’m eating hot dogs and ice cream all day, I get my fair share of lean meats, raw vegetables, and fruit… Buuuut I could cut out canola oil, pasteurized milk, ALL processed foods… SpaghettiO’s……………….. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner need to be just as nourishing as my healthy snacks. There’s so many benefits to adapted Paleos diets, the Mediterranean diet, etc… I’m putting in some serious research. I’m going to eat a FUCKLOAD of potatoes this Thursday with my in laws at thanksgiving, and that should conclude my unhealthy phase. Let thanksgiving be like the “going away party” to unhealthy eating habits. Finally.
So I guess I’ll finally use tumblr for something other than looking at art, sex gifs, and silly things. Maybe it will be all that plus a health journey. Hmm that would be cool I guess.

Tuesday’s munchies include… boiled egg for pre-workout, #Stoneyfield #organic #Banilla (my favorite yogurt by far) with some #Kind granola (again love that it is #nogmo ) Lunch is organic mixed greens with organic cabbage. I made a little creamy ginger-garlic-lemon dressing with some #Lifeway organic plain Kiefer and added some organic chia seeds. I have a little quinoa I’m adding for protein. Lastly, cashews and an apple for a snack. After all that food prep dinner is always a tbd in my life…
