A life in fairytale... this is Munich for me
I was there three times, but twice I’ve stayed for a month. I think it is enough to fall in love with this city.
I am giving you Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace, Nymphen means nymphs in English). It is a spectacular place with very well decorated and maintained garden.
If you ever go there you will totally revive a fairytale. The palace was the main summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria.
The palace, together with its park, is now one of the most famous sights of Munich. The baroque facades comprise an overall width of about 700 metres. Some rooms still show their original baroque decoration while others were later redesigned in rococo or neoclassical style.
