My parents got back from Wales today, they went to visit the house we’re buying. I got looking today at the area, apparently there’s 15 nature reserves which is pretty rad. Pembroke National Park is about 2 hours away, so I’ll have to check that out.

There’s 2 Islands off the coast, Skomer and Skokholm. You can visit there and stay for a few days, so I sent an email to the Wildlife trust asking about doing that. Something I’m definitely gonna look into.

Other than that, same shit different day. Nothing new to report. I’m sending off like 8 rolls of film to Kaspars tomorrow though, including my first roll from my TLR so looking forward to that!

The sea watching hide…an amazing place to watch Manx shearwater flying past the bishops and clerks on their way back to burrows on Ramsey, skomer and skokholm. We have about 4000 breeding pairs on Ramsey island and they are our most numerous breeding birds. If you’ve never heard a Manx shearwater call before its really worth looking up, we hear them coming back to their burrows at night and it such a strange but awesome noise! I’d love to stay overnight on skomer where they have around 300,000 breeding pairs, it must be incredible.
