The Favour Of Allah We Will Never Be Able To Repay.

Today I at school I just sat there and thought “Wow. These people have no purpose in life.” And Im not talking about the “muslims” Im talking about the white people. Now dont get me wrong, Im not categorizing or being judgemental, in fact Im not even talking about all the whites. Some are so amazing and attached to their deen, or some have really good morals.

But then there are the ones that are just literally “trash”. Partying, Drinking,Adultery, etc etc. They have no purpose. They dont have goals. They dont have anything to live for. They dont have anything to die for. All they do is party, party and party.

And then I sat there and went, “What if I was one of them? What would I do then?” Just the thought of that made me afraid.

The thought of having no purpose in life. The thought of not having anything to life for.

All that could come to my mind was a simple “Alhamdulillah!”

"Alhamdulillah that I was born into a Muslim family. Alhamdulillah."

I mean everyone is born Muslim, but because of their parents some turn Christian, Hindu, Jew, Sikh etc.

But to be born Muslim and Remain Muslim? That is a HUGE blessing.

It means that, Allah [swt] chose YOU to be part of his followers. He chose YOU to worship him. He chose YOU to be his servant. He chose YOU to be amongst the Ummah of the Holy Prophet [pbuh]. He chose YOU to come on the right path. He chose YOU to become and remain Muslim. What bigger honour, privilege, and blessing than that.

He has bestowed a favour upon us.

A favour that we will never be able to repay.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? [55:13]

There are people out there that are struggling to find peace in terms of Religion. And here I am. I follow the Religion which defines peace. I follow the Religion which has answers. I follow the Religion of freedom. Yet I do not understand it’s worth.

Astaghfirullah. Ya Allah [swt] Forgive this huge mistake. Ya Allah. Ya Allah. Ya Allah.

I am so grateful to be a Muslim. I just wish I was better at it.

Semi Ramadhan Rant!

As-Salam-un-Alykum

Here is my semi ramadhan rant…not really a rant because getting angry in Ramadhan is not good …lol im just annoyed basically.. Here it is [before you decide to judge..read & hear me out first.]

I dont understand why people, specifically and only muslims say that “if you sleep all day during Ramadhan, you have lost the purpose behind it”  I mean i understand 100% that Ramadhan is a time where our souls are suppose to be closer to Allah, and to do that you need to do as much ibadah (worship) as you can!

Indeed, prayers & reading the quran is highly important in Ramadhan, and it brings our souls closer to our master, Allah.

But sleeping is not “wasting time”

In fact it is also ibadah.

That is because if you are asleep you refrain from doing the minor sins that happen unknowingly such as gheebat (backbiting), lying, anger, fighting with your siblings. So is that not ibadah?

Our Holy Prophet & Our Imams (peace be upon them) have said that If one is fasting to please Allah, then even his smallest form of ibadah is accepted even if it is just sleeping.

Sleeping in Ramadhan prevents us from doing minor sins that we often dont realize…

Dont get me wrong, im not saying to sleep through prayer timings„,but if you do happen to sleep in late or decide to take a nap during the day…IT IS NOT “wasting your time in Ramadhan”

I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU CAN SLEEP THROUGH FAJR, ZUHR/ASR, MAGHRIB/ISHA! [Ramadhan is a month of worship…you cant sleep through prayers!]

Wasting your time in Ramadhan is watching tv or playing video games all day THAT is wasting your time…which im sure WE ALL do..

Other than that, Allah knows best!

Ramadhan Kareem!

Ws’Salam
