34. “If you keep looking at me like that we won’t make it to a bed.”
Rin let out a trembling breath as he felt Haru’s lips against his collarbone. His fingers moved to dig into the soft, black hair as he let his head fall back against the wall. The action probably should have hurt, but there was such pleasure flowing through his veins that it didn’t even matter.
Months, it had been months, since Rin and Haru had last been together. Training in Australia had seemed like such a brilliant idea. Getting back at his past. Reclaiming that time in his life. Showing that he could be the person he dreamed of. It was all well and good until he’d decided to be upfront with Haru before he left.
The confession had gone much better than he had thought. Haru even acknowledging the whole situation had been better than planned, so when the other had said that simple, “Me too,” Rin had nearly had a fit.
You see, a lot of people thought of Haru as this cold guy, but really he was just very to the point. When talking with people that could come across pretty blunt, so Rin could understand it. However, Rin had quickly learned that to the point extended beyond Haru’s speech patterns and things had gotten physical rather quickly. Not that Rin minded at all, they were both teenage boys, of course, but it had made leaving Haru and returning to his right hand in Australia pretty unfulfilling. An active imagination and swimming to the point of exhaustion could only get one so far.
Haru pulled back and Rin let his lidded eyes meet with Haru’s face. Ruffled hair, bright eyes, lips shining, and Rin let another shaking breath go. A small smirk curved Haru’s lips and Rin felt more than saw as Haru pressed his body in close to Rin’s and brushed his lips against a rapidly reddening ear.
“If you keep looking at me like that,” he said and bit gently at the lobe his lips had been teasing, “we won’t make it to a bed.”
