From then on, everything was about her septuplet siblings. Tracey had become left out of her family and constantly turned invisible, without anybody noticing. But ever since the makeover and her family found out about Tracey’s gift, they are proud to have a daughter that is gifted.

Amanda Beeson || 16 years old || 11th grade || Straight || Single

Biography:

Amanda is one of the most popular girl in school. At Middlebrook Middle School, she used to be the Queen Bee. Queen of Mean is a more accurate statement as she doesn’t show empathy for others. But Amanda has a secret: she’s gifted, having the power of being a body snatcher. Amanda has known this since she was five years old. She knows how her gift works. As long as she doesn’t feel bad for anybody, everything is fine. Amanda doesn’t want her gift at all, although sometimes she reconsiders it. All she cares about is Ken.

Amanda hadn’t learned much from middle school. She’s still the snobby girl she has always been. Although, Amanda had learned how to control her gift. Now she can snatch peoples’ bodies by choice. Every now and then she might accidentally snatch a body for feeling bad for that person. It doesn’t happen as often as it used to when she was younger. Amanda has to deal with her frenemies from middle school whom she still hadn’t broke the friendships with. She acts like she likes them although she doesn’t really and thinks that they are annoying.

Connections:

  • Ken Preston - Ken is Amanda’s crush and she talks to him all the time. Back in middle school they kissed at a Pool Party, but it was just a dare. Once Amanda had snatched Ken’s body and practically fell in love with a ghost that talks to Ken. Amanda and Ken share the want of getting rid of their gifts, although Amanda sometimes thinks it will be better if she still has her gift.
  • Jenna Kelley - The two girls just simply don’t get along. They’re exact opposites. Jenna is the creepy goth and Amanda is the popular girly girl. Why would the two of them ever be friends? It’s strange really, how they usually end up talking to each other a lot or going places such as going to Harmony House to find out what was going on with Carter.
  • Tracey Devon - Before the Gifted Class, Amanda, along with her popular group of friends, used to always make fun of Tracey. She was so nerdy, so unpopular! Until one day she started to feel bad for the blonde girl, that was when she accidentally snatched her body. Just because of that incident, Amanda was put into the Gifted Class. Amanda and Tracey don’t talk often; Amanda doesn’t really talk to most people in that class anyways.

Most people in the school do not judge her for that. Sarah is very mature for her age. She looks younger than she is. Even though she seems and looks innocent, her gift is deadly.

Her gift is mind control. Sarah can make anybody do anything she wants. Yet the problem is, she would rather not. Sarah refuses to use her gift, even when she has to. She agrees that she would rather get rid of having the gift than keeping it. Sarah is scared because she knows how much trouble she can cause. It’s a good thing this gift is in good hands.

Paul Carter || 16 years old || 11th grade || Demisexual || Single

Biography:

Previously known as Carter Street, Paul doesn’t know much about his life. Years ago, the boy was found wandering on a street called Carter Street. Having no records of who he was and the boy showing that he had amnesia, it was decided that that would be his name. At Meadowbrook Middle School, he never talked or anything, he stayed mute. It was almost like he was a robot. Paul, or Carter, always obeyed orders and he didn’t show any emotion.

Three years ago, it was revealed that he was the spy in Gifted Class. It wasn’t on purpose, he was controlled by a lady named Sierra, which is someone that tried to use the kids’ gifts for her own good. She hypnotized Carter to tell her everything that the Gifted Class talked about every day in class. She made him speak. When it was found out that he was the spy, he was taken out and put into Harmony House for rehab. Dr. Paley, someone that Madame trusted, had helped Carter find out who he was and what his gift was.

When Paul was four years old, he and his parents witnessed a mob murder, making them go into Protective Witness Program. His family moved around a lot and changed their names many times. One day, his family was discovered and his parents were shot. Scared of this, Paul somehow shrunk into a gerbil. Dr. Paley had then found out Carter’s real name was Paul but did not discover his last name. Since Dr. Paley that Paul was so used to the name Carter it was decided that his name would just be Paul Carter.

Now that Paul is in high school, he does talk sometimes. He doesn’t talk as much as other people do though. The people he mainly talks to are the people from Gifted Class, since he knows them more than other people.
