Relationships don’t work the way they do on television and in the movies. Will they? Won’t they? And then they finally do, and they’re happy forever. Gimme a break. Nine out of ten of them end because they weren’t right for each other to begin with, and half of the ones who get married get divorced anyway, and I’m telling you right now, through all this stuff, I have not become a cynic, I haven’t. Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing chocolate covered candies and, ya’know, in some cultures, a chicken. You can call me a sucker, I don’t care, because I do believe in it. Bottom line is: it’s couples who are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else, but the big difference is they don’t let it take them down. One of those two people will stand up and fight for that relationship every time. If it’s right, and they’re real lucky, one of them will say something.

—  This is why i love scrubs… It’s hilarious but it also captures people perfectly.
Calling all fans from all fandoms across Tumblr

My sister is doing a research assignment with the thesis ‘How do fandoms affect people’s lives and are the effects beneficial or detrimental?’

I know, right? She gets the fun homework.

Anyway, to help her out, she needs people to fill out her survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CVM8BDX

Please help her out!! It doesn’t matter what fandom you’re from!! Reblog this to all fandoms you think deserve to have their voices heard!!!

Malia Tate is not mentally 8 years old. No, repeat after me: MALIA TATE IS NOT MENTALLY 8 YEARS OLD. No matter what you wish/want/dreamed up, MALIA TATE IS NOT MENTALLY 8 YEARS OLD! How many times do the writers have to repeat that? How much on-screen proof do you need? Malia Tate IS NOT MENTALLY A CHILD!

But that’s not how it works in RL, you say? And how many werecoyotes do you know in RL? This is a serious question. You say that that’s not how it works in RL, that kids who lived in the wilderness are stunted. And I ask again: HOW MANY WERECOYOTES DO YOU KNOW IN REAL LIFE? And this is a serious fucking question!

In Teen Wolf, a person’s mental progress does not stop when they turn into an animal. That’s Teen Wolf canon. Just like the idea of a True Alpha, of mountain ash, of some Japanese lichen, of people killing Oni, of a fucking giant lizard thing. THIS IS ESTABLISHED TEEN WOLF CANON. Every author of paranormal stories establishes their own canon, this is Jeff Davis’.

You do not question the existence of were creatures, possession, druid magic - yet you question the mental state of Malia Tate? Quite a selective person, aren’t you?
