A heroic teacher stopped a school shooting from happening this morning

A high school teacher is being called a hero after the brave actions he took to stop a gunman at North Thurston High School in Lacey, Washington, on Monday morning. Shots were first reported by students on Twitter around 10:30 a.m. At least two shots were heard in the school. Brady Olson, who teaches AP government, then sprung into action and risked his life in the process.

Guys, the term toxic masculinity does not translate into men are evil. That is not what that term means.

We’re talking about how our society indoctrinates boys from a young age to believe they can’t share their feelings, that they’re not allowed to cry, that they have to shut up and man up, that it’s okay to use violence as a way to express pain, but it’s not okay to ask for help. We’re talking about how this version of masculinity, of what it means to be a man, is toxic. We’re talking about how the patriarchy hurts men. This discussion is centered on how we can improve society so that boys and men don’t have to endure this box that society has put them in which causes some men to snap, lash out, and hurt others.

If anyone tries to tell you that Muslims are all out to get us, that they never speak out against terrorism or suffer because of terrorism, tell them about Peshawar.

Tell them how 140+ people were slaughtered, mostly children, by the Taliban. Make them see the human cost that terrorism has on the Muslim community. Because as awful as Sydney was, and as terrible as the Canadian parliament attack was, and as horrific as the Boston Marathon bombings were, and as much as 9/11 hurts to this day, the slaughtering of school children in Pakistan happened too. Its just one more attack on Muslims in the name of extremist indoctrination disguised as religion. One little girl survived by laying among dead bodies and trying not to scream. Instructors tried to barricade classrooms as terrorists roamed the halls with guns and suicide vests. A teacher was doused in gasoline and set on fire in front of students. Children ran for their lives and were shot dead as they tried to escape.

All terrorism hurts but don’t for one second let anyone forget Peshawar. Don’t let anyone get away with a discussion about the victims of terrorism that doesn’t include the Muslim community.

Books literally saved a student’s life in Florida State shooting

Three people were injured early Thursday at Florida State University’s Strozier Library after a former student opened fire inside while between 300 and 400 students were studying for finals. The gunman, identified by the Associated Press as lawyer Myron May, was subsequently killed by police after engaging them in a shootout.

One very lucky student, Jason Derfuss, escaped almost certain injury and possible death as a bullet was stopped by a stack of books in his backpack.

‘I want to grab a few different girls in my gym class, take them into a room, pull their pants off and fuck them hard. I love flesh … the smooth legs, the large breasts, the innocent flawless body, the eyes, the hair, jet black, blond, white, brown, ahhh I just want to fuck!’ - Eric Harris Journal (11/12/98)

“It brought the nation to its knees, but now that we’ve gotten back up how have things changed; what have we learned?”

16 years later, the nation is still being brought to its knees only to find itself asking the same questions.

You disgusting vultures couldn’t even wait two hours to turn a horrific shooting caused by a mentally ill person into a feminist issue.

Speaking as a mentally ill person myself…

He shot people because he was mentally unstable, you morons! No sane person deals with rejection by coming to the conclusion of “Hurr durr, I’m going to shoot this girl because she said no to me.” That is the thought process of the severely mentally ill.

Oh, and trust me, there are THOUSANDS more posts like these trying to derail the murder, suicide, and hospitalizations of multiple people in the name of FEMINISM and “male entitlement” instead of focusing on the lack of understanding and getting help for the mentally ill.
