NBC’s Parks and Recreation's recent episode “William Henry Harrison” featured this piece of campaign memorabilia prominently. Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope desperately gathers W.H.H. artifacts in order to best Nick Offerman's Ron Swanson. The joke is on her, of course, because the tin and paper “keep the ball rolling” campaign gimmick was actually designed for Benjamin Harrison, based on one that had rolled for his grandfather.

“Old Allegany in 1840 started the ball for Harrison; In ’88 as they did then, We roll it on for Gallant Ben. Roll along, Roll away, Keep the ball in motion; The spirit of our men is up from Rocky Hills to Ocean.”
